Mr Jonze Collecting wax for 30+ years, he has held down residencies at various venues across his City of Liverpool for two decades along side the ever present ‘No Fakin’ brothers.
He has dropped wax at the Garden Festival Croatia from its birth as well as clubs and bars in Zargreb, Oslo and Zadar.
An initial hip hop collector in the 90’s it was a visit to ‘Head Funk’ Manchester listening to Chubby Grooves, Mr Scruff, Mark Rae and Matt Trigg that propelled him into breaks and samples and since then has developed a collection of vinyl encompassing all genres of music. Deeply rooted in soul and funk with a soft spot for a 45.
Early days, diggin was an every day event. Hitting spots around the U.K. with No Fakin family Paddy and Ciaran Quinn at any opportunity. Markets, boot sales, charity shops and anywhere else in between that had wax. Still diggin and still finding classics and rarities in the bottomless crates of music out there.
